While you are reading these lines, I am sure that there are hundreds of producers who would like to have you as their clients - so why choose me?

There are two main reasons:

One:

Unique musical production, at the highest level, which compliments your song or project.

What does that mean?

As a producer who listens to all kinds of music, from classical, to jazz, through rock, pop and electronic, to folk, tango, African and Arab music, the variety of my musical influences make me a producer with a comprehensive understanding, which will assist in designing a diversified, dynamic and precise song.

As a producer and composer, I believe that the arrangement should serve the melody, lyrics and overall atmosphere of the song. I have heard arrangements that were excellent, musically speaking, but didn’t serve the song’s purpose, or other way around, simple arrangements that complimented the song perfectly, thus making it better.

Two:

A nurturing approach to both artist and song.

I belive that listening is one of the most important parts of the production process.

My work begins when I first meet the artist. I want to be inspired by them and be inspired for the production of their song or album.

When I listen to the lyrics, I want to understand their meanings, and what experience they are trying to convey. If the song is based on a personal experience - I would like to hear all about it.

I wish to create a dialogue, to share my impression and musical-production vision with the artist, and of course, keep them informed throughout the production process.

It is collaborative in spirit but you won’t feel like you’re doing any work!  :)

In addition

Alongside producing music for artists, I also compose original music for movies and plays, write songs, do sound editing, and record, compose and create instrumental electronic music. Oh, and I’m also not a bad carpenter ;)

Testimonials

Shani Peleg (on the ‘Pyrotechnica’ arrangement)  :

“Listen, this is absolutely great. Sounds amazing!!! I’m listening to it in loops. Awesome.”

Galit Vashdi (on the production of ‘Time’)  :

“Incredible!!!!! You are a genius!! You took it to a whole new direction, I would’ve never of thought of that and I absolutely love it!”

Liat Kahana:

“Kobe takes a song and ‘dresses’ it with the finest of garbs, finest of instruments and lots of love… Giving 100 percent is disrespectful in his book - he would rather give 200. The result is exciting, groovy, jazzy Israeli music without a dull moment.”

Leslie Strongwater (of PuppetCinema) :

“Kobe’s work on Planet Egg both as a Foley Artist and performer is top notch. He is simply the best and the first artist I think of when the company needs sound.”
